Weeping and heartbroken for America and her people, I am sharing the only thing I have of value which are the Words of America's God who loves us still beyond our understanding especially in the dark horror of these days. My own heart has been blessed to see the countless millions all across this country and the world turn to God, crying out to him in prayer, knowing that He alone can help and comfort us now and always. I used to live in New York City, so to see that incredible city as I did crushed my heart for those who live there now. Exactly one year ago I was in Washington DC on September 11, 2000, to begin training in a new job, so the destruction there impacted me personally as well. Just know that God Himself was there in the midst of the devastation powerfully and personally with all those who knew Him and they are with Him now - their joy, our sorrow. He is here too with all of us whose hearts are weeping. I pray you will find His comfort and wisdom in the truths He has shared with me. |
God of America, please hear the cries of your people, pour out your Spirit upon us and heal us amen |
