Wake Up America! In this most sorrowful and horrific time, the hearts of people all over the world are being lifted up to God in prayer for America and Americans, pleading for comfort, begging for peace. Ultimately, when something this unimaginabley evil and treacherous happens to touch the lives of so many all in one instant, it is the nature of the human soul to both cry out to God for mercy, and to blame Him. But, God is not moved by lip service. He is moved by broken and contrite hearts that acknowledge their own futility, their wretched sinfulness, and their recognition of Him as Almighty God and only Savior. He does not want phony and fleeting relationships with His people. He despises lukewarm love. I believe the very heart of God can and does grieve for His people, and I know it is grieving now. God's great and holy heart is grieving for America, and for her people. I also know that His heart has been grieved about America for multiple decades as He has watched America turn away from Him, and worse than that, watched as countless millions willingly, deliberately reject Him, deny His existence, and His power. Wantonly America has blundered along the road of destruction, denying God's existence, attempting in vain to remove His presence from America, while it has welcomed, aided and abetted His enemies. God is yet merciful. When anyone seeks Him with a sincere heart, He hears and answers always, without fail, miraculously. He longs to gather His people under the His perfect protection, but He is no puppet. He does not exist to serve us, but waits for us to love and serve Him. Until the hearts of people turn to Him for the first time, or turn back to Him, acknowledging His sovereignty and not their own, He will not be moved on their behalf. His word says that He does not even hear the prayers, no matter how fervantly prayed or soul screamed, from an unrepentant heart. We live in an "instant age" used to having everything we ask and demand instantly, and in one heartbeat of time we have seen all of that change. God is all powerful, He is capable of limitless miracles, and instant response, but only when His purpose is served, never just to fulfil the demands of His heart-stricken creatures. For those who are even now cursing and blaming God for this, be assured this is not the work of God, He has only allowed it, and then only for His own purpose. This is the work of the unknowable evil that exists in the hearts of so many people on this home we call earth. When a people, a nation turn from God, He will always leave them to their own destruction, it has never been otherwise. Right now, today every person in America and the world is aware of the fragility and uncertaintly of life. Right now, every thinking person in America and in the world needs to stop and consider their own mortality and their eternal destiny. Each soul needs to make its choice now before their last opportunity is past. In all reality, we do not know what the future holds, but we do know that it will be another terrible toll in human lives for good to overcome, even temporarily, the evil of this world. Ultimately, it is only the Lord Jesus Christ who will finish the battle of good versus evil once and for all. He has already written the end. He thought we would heed the message. It isn't too late. The hearts and souls of 6 billion plus people need to determine in this heartbeat of time, right now, what they believe, who they believe in, who they serve, and where they intend to spend eternity. And, they better check all their premises, search deep within their soul before making that decision, for their choice has ultimate and everlasting consequences. For each and every one of us truly our eternal redemption draws nigh, much nearer than we believed. Truly, as we still shudder from the unspeakable terror unleashed in America on September 11th, as we stand now perhaps on the brink of another world war, each and every soul is being pricked with the reality of an Almighty God by His Holy Spirit calling all to turn to Him with their whole heart, mind, soul and strength. The devastation of September 11 is not God's doing. Think of it as His wake up call to the world - to you - whoever/wherever you are |
Those are my personal thoughts and beliefs as a Spirit-filled Christian who acknowledges and loves God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ who sacrificed Himself in order for me to have, not just this very temporary earthly life, but eternal life with Him. At this moment of overwhelming shock, horror, and tragedy in human existence and the history of the world, my heart breaks to the point of being crushed in sorrow for those who do not know the reality of Jesus Christ and His inimitable comfort, His perfect protection and power. For all those anguishing with the loss of family, friends and coworkers, my heart is broken for your pain if you don't have Jesus to comfort and care for you in the great darkness of your life right now. I cannot imagine bearing it without Him. To all of you who do not have a personal knowledge or relationship with Jesus Christ, I am providing lots of links to make that possible for you. When you reach out to Him, call upon Him with a sincere heart, He not only hears, He answers instantly. To all my fellow believers in Jesus Christ as Soverign Lord and Holy God, I pray for your strength and courage to fervently with every ounce of your being, stand in the gap for America for Americans for the world God has called us to an incredible work! |

God Bless America We once looked to You for our hope and our dreams. Now, it just seems like there are so many schemes. There are con artists on every corner, People getting killed left and right. God, could you just take her hand again and hold her through the night? You see all the hate, all the pain, when will it stop? On every street corner you see a cop. We have made prisons of our homes, latch key is a common word. Too many of our children are never heard. So God, would you please Bless America again? She's worn and tired and so full of sin. Babies killing babies, oh where will it end ... Are we blind to this or are we just trying to pretend? We can't ignore what's happening anymore. Seems like living is just such a chore. God, I want to live in peace and harmony with all. Oh please help America to once again stand tall. You blessed us once, I know you can do it again. I know how much you hate all this sin. God, could you look down from the heavens tonight And help us with this awful fight? The fight against sin is just too much for us But, I know we can clean up our Bibles and get rid of the dust. We need you God, could you please Bless America again And help us get rid of all this sin? |
